An Ocean Breeze Sets the Mind at Ease

I am continuing to get stronger every day since my thumb surgery 2 weeks ago. I started occupational therapy yesterday and I am already WAY AHEAD with my therapy this time than last time so I am pleased with that. And I am only going once a week instead of twice a week so that's a plus. I have exercises I do at home and they are definitely helping me be less sore!!

Happy 60th Birthday!

One of my best friends is turning the big 6-0 this summer so I made her this card with 60 balloons. Yes I counted them! I'm not far behind, another year until I turn 60! That's hard to believe! LOL

More popsicles!! These 3 step stencils are so fun to line up and color :).

I went to my hand surgeon yesterday and got my stitches out in my thumb. I continue to have stabbing pains in my thumb area and they said its completely normal with this type of surgery. I had it last time too and it lasts for a few weeks. Its been HORRIBLE the past few days! On a positive note, I start my occupational therapy next week, which a week sooner than last time. I really do feel I am healing much faster this time and I hope to be back to be back to stamping real soon. Meanwhile, I was able to make this stenciled card.

Life Would Be Im-Popsicle Without You

Who says one can't stencil 1-handed? LOL  I got these today in the mail and I instantly had to make a card! Tomorrow I get my stitches out in my thumb and I cannot wait!! Then the occupational therapy can begin in 2 weeks!
