I love this big stencil by The Greetery. I also love the Aida Cloth Texture Plate by The Greetery, that makes it look like it's cross stitched. It's just a die cut you run through your die cut machine and it cuts out teeny tiny little holes. It's fabulous!!

This is an oldie but goody by Eat Cake Graphics. I added some polka dots to her shirt using white Nuvo drops. I watercolored this scene.

We had cold enough weather to make snow angels this weekend but no snow. It was down to 17 degrees here in NC with windchills, it felt like 9 degrees. That's cold for us.  Stamps by Ellen Hutson. I used vellum for the snow angels in the squares.

Happy Valentine's Mrs. K's kindergarten class

In my Angel Card Facebook group, Mrs. K's class in Ohio asked for Valentine cards for her class of 11. The population of the whole town is just 300. I love this heart 2 step stencil by Papertrey Ink from last year and still use it. The heart wood stencil die cut is by Tim Holtz. I thought it would be fun to put her name on the heart.

It's Your Birthday ...

Starting on February birthday cards. I only have 2 birthdays in Feb I think so I'll get those done pretty fast :). I love this stamp and die set by The Greetery. I colored the candles with my Copics and used Catherine Pooler inks for the burst of ink for the candles.

Baby, It's Cold Outside

This is actually a Christmas set by Colorado Craft Co and I had ordered it BEFORE Christmas but it sold out so fast, I got it 3 days after so I made it into a winter card by using glossy accents on the cups. I sent this to our daughter who recently moved to FL. She expected to be wearing shorts by now but they are having a bit of a colder January this year. LOL I colored this with my Copic markers. I cut the sentiment apart to get it to fit on this circle card.

Heartfelt Sympathy

Sympathy cards are always so hard to make so when I make one, I usually make several at a time. I watched this video that Unity Stamps using her Distress Oxides to make it look like aurora lights. Then added some white Nuvo drops. Little did I know I would need it for a close friend who lost her son this past week.
