Halloween cards are my absolute favorite cards to make. When I saw this set come out by Unity Stamp Company a few weeks ago, I had to get it! Once again, its near 100F degrees out in NC, so I may as well start working on some Halloween cards :). I made this one one layer by masking the chickens before I stenciled the moon.

Isn't this a FUN Santa?  He just came out at Unity Stamps and I had to have him :). Colored with my copic markers and I added some Glossy Accents to his boots and some stickles glitter to his hat. Used Wonky Stitched Circle Die by Gina Marie Designs.

More Candles ... Bigger Cake!

I got this idea from Splitcoast to tear the piece of paper to make it look like the paper caught fire from all the candles on the cake. I added gold Stickles so it would stand out. This is a very old wood stamp by Art Impressions. I also paper pieced her dress with flamingo paper.

I love this set by Concord & 9th. My chemo buddy is graduating from her chemo sessions so this will be my final card for her. I have been with Chemo-Angels for about 8 years and as soon as one patient graduates, I sign up for another. You can find out about it here if you would like. I am a card angel but you can be any kind of angel you want. They match you with someone and you can get monthly updates from chemo-angels themselves but they are not required.

Snoopy in red/white/blue

I am doing very well since my ovary surgery a week ago. Bandages are off and my cysts tested benign so that was a relief that I didn't need a full hysterectomy. I walked for 30 minutes today at the park before it got to 100. We are currently in a heat wave and I am counting the days until Fall :).  I just ordered some new Halloween stamps from Unity Stamps last week and they should be here soon. I can't wait to start on my Halloween cards. My fave holiday for cards!!
