Live Like There's Snow Tomorrow

I like these new distress mica flakes by Tim Holtz. You add them using Glossy Accents underneath (which acts like glue) and they dry pretty fast. They are a bit bulky in a card if you use too many so I keep it to a minimum. Tim also told a tip when adding them, just let them fall where they land. They look much better that way than placing them where you want. I also added aurora lights to the sky (you may have to squint your eyes to see it LOL) - I learned that in Kristina Werner's online holiday card class a few weeks ago. I used Hero Arts white pigment ink and just did a sweeping motion with a sponge. I need to work on that technique more!
