Made Christmas cookies with Emily
before she went back to school. She had to make 39 cookies, individually bagged in cute bags for her sorority sisters tomorrow. They are having a cookie exchange so she will get 39 different goodies. Not all will be cookies, she just chose to make Christmas cookies. I love these baking pans I have. The shapes are already in the cookie sheet so all you have to do is press the cookie dough into the shapes and voila, they bake real cute. Here's what we made .... All I need is a big glass of milk to go with them :). Mmmmmm!

Mo's Dream Team DT call
When Mo from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop said she is looking for a few new design team members, I knew right away I wanted to apply. I love all of Mo's digital images and have quite the collection. This is my favorite all-time Mo image.
This image is called Jack Waiting. I printed this image twice then I cut one out to make a mask so I could airbrush the sky without getting ink all over the rest of the image. I also used my very small circle punch from Stampin Up and punched out a moon so I could mask that out also. I colored the image using Copic markers and I sponged around the edges of Mo's image. I also punched out 3 snowflakes using one of Martha Stewart's punch and added those to the card as well. All paper is by Bo Bunny. The inside stamped image is from: Penny Black. I thought it was the perfect sentiment for this card. Isn't this little boy adorable waiting for Santa?

I haven't stamped in a few days
I found this tutorial here and tried it on this card. I used regular Momento Ink and its super easy to make this as a background behind a stamp. I actually had a hard time finding a good stamp to use for this purpose but I think this card came out pretty cute. I did not spritz mine with water. I didn't like how that one came out so into the trash it went.

I'm sure you're thinking I'm crazy to have Christmas music on my blog already
but to be honest, I have been searching high and low on the internet and finally found my playlist from last year so I added a few new songs and thought I would go ahead and put it on my blog. I have it where it will not play unless you tell it to play so its up to you if you want to listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving or not. You know, Thanksgiving is JUST 2 weeks from today. Are you ready? LOL

My first washer necklace tutorial
Even though Christmas is 1 1/2 months away, I asked Charlie for a Sony Bloggie video camera. I wanted to try it out to make sure it works ok since we only have 30 days to return it. We got it at Sams and so far, I love it. I made this video today. Let me know what you think.
Finally posting my pics from Angola
Sorry its taken me so long to get my Angola pics up but I kept forgetting. We went to Amish country and saw 2 school houses with cute Amish kids playing outside. We went to an Amish bakery and got all these goodies in the photo above. Everything was delicious!! We made smores inside using an embossing gun. If you watched the video, I'm sure you are laughing at me laughing!! We had a super weekend and can't wait to do it all again in April.

Happy Wednesday!!
I am headed to Angola, Indiana today to meet up with 9 stamping friends from: Ohio, Michigan, and Utah. Its about a 9 hour drive so by the time you read this, I will be well on my way (I typed and posted this earlier)
I am going to be working on my Christmas cards - I do 2 sets of Christmas cards. This year I decided to make a card using stamping and a photo of our house taken last winter for my non-stamping friends. I will make 50 of these. (I totally copied this idea from my friend Mary in Mooresville) I will post the other card I am making another day.
Supplies used: Basic Grey paper, NOEL stamp by DRS Designs (the triangles look individually cut out but they aren't).

Friends are the marshmallows in the cocoa of life
I love that saying. It comes in a rubber stamp (I think) but I wrote it freehand. I got the digital image of hot cocoa here.
