You are loved

2 weeks ago I found out one of my very dear friends has dementia. She's 53 years young. 53!!  I made this card for her to cheer her up. I hope it does the trick!!

I stamped the flamingos in pink ink, doing the no-line coloring technique. No-line coloring = means you don't use black ink to stamp your image in. You use a lighter ink, therefore, you don't see a line and then you color your image with whatever color you want. These flamingos I stamped in a very light pink ink and then I watercolored them in a darker shade of pink (Spectrum Aqua markers). I made a mask for the sunset and then watercolored around the sun using Tim Holtz distress inks. I sponged the sun using TH distress inks too.

I am entering it in the following challenges:

Nail Polish Marbeling

Alphabet Challenge - Anything with Wings
Crafty Friends - Starts with B ... Bird
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes

Check out this neat technique. It's called Nail Polish Marbling and I came across it on the Reverse Confetti blog. It's neat to see what backgrounds you come up with.

(Besides the nail polishing smell, I really like this final look)

Llama by Impression Obsession
Clouds by Unity Stamps

I just got this cloud stamp by Unity Stamps from my good friend Angie and when I saw this challenge I knew I had to ink it up and use it. What would I put with it?  A llama, of course! LOL I colored the llama using my Tombow markers and water.

Happy Mother's Day

I am sending this Mother's Day card to my aunt in Cincinnati. She's like a 2nd mom to me and she has 2 grandchildren, a boy and girl, and this image reminds me of them (even though they are in high school now).
