I'm a cover girl! lol

On my Facebook newsfeed this morning, up popped up the latest cover of Just Cards magazine!  Guess who made the cover!  Me!!  That's my owl card using a Unity stamp!  I've been submitting cards to Just Cards for many years and have had a lot of cards published but this is the first time on the cover!!  Did you know several companies will give you either free stamps or store credit? Unity is one of those companies so I will get to pick some free stamps. Yay!!!

Have a BEARY good birthday

All stamps and the wonky oval die is by My Favorite Things. This set comes with multiple bears and I decided to use the smaller bear for the envelope.

Friends are the best part of Christmas

Christmas is 3 weeks away. WHAT?  How did that happen?  I spent the day yesterday wrapping my gifts since it rained all day anyway. I know the mountains got 2-3" of snow but we got just rain (I'm near Concord, NC)

I love ALL snowmen stamps!!  This is an oldie but goodie from Amuse ArtStamps, back when they came wood mounted.  The sentiment is by Unity Stamp Company.

I am entering in these challenges:

Cardz 4 Galz - Snowman

When it Rains It Pours but That's Ok, I love rainbows

When I saw this challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies "Whatever the Weather", I knew right away which stamp I was going to use.  I got this stamp from the West Springfield, MA stamp convention when I went this past June. Its from Technique Junkies. I colored the background with my Tombow markers and water. This was my favorite booth at the whole stamp show. They have so many "different" and "unique" stamps. I just love them. I saw on their website they will be coming to the stamp convention in Columbia, SC in Feb so I will have to definitely try to make it since its only a 2 hour drive for me. I haven't been to that show in years but if I remember right, it has snowed the past couple of years and this FL girl cannot drive in any ice or snow for that matter.

You Light the Candles, I'll get the Fire Extinguisher

I'm still needing some birthday cards for January so I thought this one was hilarious!
