I've been playing with this new die that came from Hero Arts this week ever since I got it in the mail. No stamps go with it so you just color the die shape itself and I just love how it comes out. I watercolored it with my Jane Davenport watercolors and added the sentiment "My Friend" in one of the clouds. I've made a few cards this week with it and all the other ones I put blue paper behind it for the sky but this one I made for this color challenge so I kept the background white. I still love it!! :)

I know Easter is 8 weeks away but I couldn't wait to ink up this new stamp set by Avery Elle. And I did it all with my right hand. My left thumb has healed much quicker than I had expected and as long as I don't overdo it, I am back to crafting!! My therapy is going great and my surgeon said I can take off my brace around the house and do "light" chores with it. Isn't stamping a "light" chore? LOL Occupational therapy gets a lot harder this week but I am more than ready!!

Have you seen the newest Winnie the Pooh stamps at Unity Stamps? I have always LOVED Pooh!!! You can see them here and they are on sale right now. I took my circle masking stencil by Taylored Expressions to make the circle. Since I still can't color with my copic markers (due to thumb surgery 5 weeks ago), I was able to watercolor Pooh and Piglet. I'm going to occupational therapy twice a week and I see the hand surgeon on Thursday to see what's next. I'm sure just more intense therapy.
We went to our annual Alpaca show this past weekend. It's the biggest in the southeast and always fun to see these gorgeous animals up close.
