Let's stamp a card with gifts/presents on it

I am excited to be the Guest Elf at Christmas Kickstart this week and the challenge is gifts/presents. For this card, I used my wonderful brand new stamps by Flora & Fauna and I stamped the snow globe first in Catherine Pooler's "It's a Boy" light blue ink. It's perfect for this snow globe.  Then I stamped out the turtle and presents and cut them all out using my Scan n' Cut. I colored them with my Copic markers and added glitter to the little turtle's Santa hat. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and its done!!

Ice cream anyone?

It may be the first day of Fall but you'd never know it here in the Carolina's. Going to be in the upper 90's the next week. I am so ready for some much cooler weather!!!

I got out my wreathe builder set by Unity Stamps and made this card. It just requires a misti or the Tim Holtz platform and its easy to make this card with everything being in a circle.

Ho Ho Ho secret message

While visiting my mom and sister down in FL, my new stamp and die set from Concord & 9th came. I could not wait to play with it. My sister is into "black and white plaid" these days and she loves the color purple so this Christmas card is going to her. I love this fun set as it has a die where you can pull the tab out of the stocking to see a secret message. How fun is that? The possibilities are endless!!

Peace on Earth

Hello! It's been a few days since I last posted. I went down to FL to visit my mom and sister. It was HOT, HOT, HOT down there!!

I couldn't wait to get back on my Christmas cards once I got back. I have quite the stack growing so I won't be rushing around at the last minute.

I created this little scene with Flora & Fauna stamps from the Home for the Holidays stamp set. I can't get enough of this moose!! I made his car purple and I am sending this to my sister since she has always wanted a purple car! LOL

The Crafter's Cafe's challenge is school related or coffee or tea

This week's challenge at The Crafter's Cafe is school related or tea or coffee. I chose this graduation cap by Eureka Stamps and you can find the digi here. I colored the cap with my C9 Copic marker then wrote "Class of 2019" using my white Signo uni-ball pen. The flowers background is like a huge piece of washi tape I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. This card went together super fast!

The road to my heart is paved with paw prints

This is a "new to me" technique and I found this you tube video showing me how to make this black embossed magic card. First, I stamped the image using Versamark ink onto black cardstock. I added the WOW white embossing powder (I really think WOW is the best embossing powder out there!), dried it with my heat tool till it was shiny and then I colored the bear and grass using my copic markers. Different shades of green for the grass and different shades of brown for the bear. Worked like magic!!

It is so hard to find the right words

A sympathy card I made using this Concord & 9th flower stamp set. I colored it with my tombow markers and water. I love how that bright blue flower pops right off the card!

For this card, I did a technique I learned from Lydia's you tube video called Duoprinting with Chlorophyl and you can see her video here. This plant is called a Boxwood and I went outside and pulled off some branches and put them through my Big Shot and voila! A neat leaf impression.
I love doing this technique for sympathy cards.

Let It Snow

It is still in the 90's here in the Carolina's and I am wishing for snow right now. Of course, when it's winter, I will be wanting warmer weather but for now, snow sure sounds great! LOL  (And for the record, we only get one or two snowfalls a year anyway!)
