I watercolored them and love how it makes me look like an artist when I clearly am nowhere near a REAL artist! LOL

On this porch scene I decided to do clouds instead of a whole blended sky. The clouds may be a little dark but I went with these colors for this color challenge. Notice the little kitty on the cute little cushion on the swing. The Greetery really does think of the little details that make a difference on a card!

I did an abstract watercolor background by watching this you tube video, only my paints did not "dance" around like the video. I think I kept adding too much but I wasn't liking it at first so I kept adding to it. You can see the video here. I'm sending this card to my uncle who is fighting cancer.

I like this much better in blue versus kraft :). Lots of Oxide blending for the background but I love how it came out!

Merry Christmas

I am continuing with my Christmas in July cards. I signed up for a Card Maker Success Summit class yesterday and it's only available for 24 hours - the free version, that is. Anyway, I watched a video by Daniel West and he showed how to mask around your card using washi tape, blending and how to draw a Christmas tree in  your background just with Copic markers and dots. Easy peasy!! Here is one I made. Snowman is by Unity Stamps. Sentiment is by Newton's Nook.

Keep on movin'

When I saw this photo for this challenge, I knew right away which stamp set I was going to use. It was perfect for this. This stamp set is an older set by Flora & Fauna and continues to be a fave of mine. The palm trees are an old wooden Amuse stamp I still have. For the road, I stamped the teeny tiny flower a bunch of times to try to resemble a road. I think it does! HA

My hands continue to do great. No more pain and more importantly, I have time to stamp again!! YAY! (and read!)
