House Mouse Pumpkins and Paint

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge - Anything Goes/Optional Fruit (I looked up pumpkin and it is a fruit. You can see it explained here. I was not sure if it was a fruit or a vegetable myself. Now I know :). I used my Art Philosophy watercolors on this and added some plaid paper to the side. It opens from the side.

Our daughter is going out of town this weekend so we will get to dog sit her dog, Tino for 4 days. I can't wait!! He loves coming to "grammy's house". Even though he does "pout" for a day or so after he gets here. Then, he's all good!!

When The Stamp Market had their huge sale 2 weeks ago, I had to get this die cut. It came with a stamp set that would stamp the sentiments but it had already sold out but for $5, I had to buy the die cut. I thought why not write in my own sayings? So that's what I did. Added a couple of bees and it's done :).

This is an interative card that we learned how to do in the Concord & 9th Summer Camp this summer. I made this into a Christmas card. You turn the top part so it goes from night to day. I stamped the night scene (Santa flying with his reindeer in white Hero Arts ink) I don't think I will be making many of these since it does take quite awhile to come together but I have a special friend who keeps all my cards over the 30 years I have been stamping so this one will go to her.

This background was a challenge at Splitcoast called Optical Illusion and it was fun to draw and very quick. You can see it here . I hope that link works. 

Right now I have at least 10 hummingbirds who frequently come to our feeders. I love watching them as they will be gone by early to mid September.

Hoping Your Day is SEW Wonderful

This is my newest favorite stencil and die set by the Greetery. It looks embroidered but its all stencils and dies. Easy peasy!! (how cute are the scissors? I even added a brad so they can open and close but I accidentially glued it shut. LOL)
