On the Bright Side, You don't need a cone

I'm not sure I have ever made a swing card or if I have, it's been awhile that I don't remember. It was pretty easy using circle dies. This get well set by Art Impressions always makes me smile and I had to cut apart the sentiment to get it to fit or it would've made the circle lop-sided. LOL

How's everyone doing with their shut downs? Here in NC, we have new orders that put us at stay at home until May 8th. Only then, will we go into Phase 1 - and let's hope our numbers stay down so we actually go into Phase 1. We stay in Phase 1 for 2-3 weeks and then hopefully we can move onto Phase 2 which will last ANOTHER 4-6 weeks before we can move onto Phase 3. I believe hair salons can open in Phase 2 so let's see how gray I will be by then!! Stay safe!

Here's another card for Taylored Expressions card drive (see info below). I love this heartbeat die cut by Sizzix but man, is it hard to glue it down! I do use Gina K's Connect Glue which is a liquid glue and that works great but it's a pain to get it on without breaking.

Cut It Up Challenge 198 - Our Beautiful Earth

At Cut It Up this week, our challenge is Our Beautiful Earth (Earth Day is April 22) representing nature - flowers, trees, animals, butterflies, birds, etc.

Here is my card. All stamps and dies are by Concord & 9th. I first made the plaid background using the sketched lines stamp which I just turned the stamp to make a plaid background and I used 2 different colors. I stamped my flowers and then used my die cut to cut them out. I colored the flowers using my Copic markers. I added that on top of the plaid background, then I popped up the 2 sentiments.

I can't wait to see what you create for our challenge. Please, remember to use a die cut on your project.

Oh poop! I missed your birthday!

Have you seen the newest stamps at Purple Onion Designs yet?  The designer is Julian Charlton and I just love her stuff!!  I follow her on Instagram and when I saw she was having her illustrations made into stamps, I bought them right away. They shipped out of NY on Saturday and I got them Monday in NC. WOO HOOO!!!!! I love fast customer service!!!!!

Now if you know me, I am NEVER late sending birthday cards but when I saw this stamp set, I had to have it. It makes me laugh whenever I look at it and I had to make a card with it right away and will send it to someone, even if I am a day late wishing someone happy birthday. LOL (I make my birthday cards way ahead of time!)
