Another new challenge for me for 2013 ....

Here is my January.  Each day I will write a little something in each square. I hope I can continue the whole year. I'm already thinking of ideas for February! (Valentines)  Wish me luck!

This was a fun photo to take. No one believed we could get us all on the stairs but we did it!!  Now its time to take all the holiday decorations down and start thinking about Valentine's Day!!

This is for a challenge at Polka Doodle http://polkadoodle.blogspot.com/ ... We had to make a card using either Happy New Year or 2013 so I used both :).  I love this snowman by Purple Onion Designs. Sentiment and year is by A Muse Studio. Cardstock is brand new from A Muse Studio. I love the chevron cardstock!!

Nicholas got his first job!

When Nicholas found out Popeyes was opening where Taco Bell used to be in Concord, he applied online and they called him for an interview shortly after. He went the next day and they hired him. He has to work all week in training from 4-9 pm. It will open next week. We are all excited!!!

I love this digital bear by Birdie Brown. He is perfect for paper piecing too.

Christie had the cutest dog ever named Jiggs. He was her EVERYTHING!  He passed away at 14 years old. I made her this sympathy card. I hope she likes it.

Birthdays on a roladex

I saw this awesome idea on this blog -

and just had to make myself a roladex with everyone's birthdays for the year. I want to be more organized this year :). It only took me a few hours to whip up. I have each person's address on a rolodex card and then on the back of their card, I have their address so everything is in one place :).  I got the rolodex at Staples for $8.
