I have 9 cards in there. I sent them in about a year ago so I was shocked to see them finally in there!! WOO HOO. Now if my "free" copy would just hurry up and come so I can look at it better and see who else might be in there with me!!!!

The next Circle Journal is about to leave

me and head onto Ellie. I had Suzi's circle journal and her Christmas theme was "What I did last Christmas?" I was a little worried about it but I got to working on it right away and it all came together real easy. Here are my 2 pages I did.

With Martha Stewart that is :). Have you seen the new Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Loop punch yet? Oh my gosh, I love it. I found it at my Ben Franklin and I had a 40% off coupon so I lucked out. Of course, at first I got the Loop corner punch. Came home and punched the corners of the paper out. Well, I wanted to go all around the page. As I got to looking, I had to have ANOTHER punch. Yep, Martha Stewart designed it that way, you have to buy BOTH punches to get it to go around THE WHOLE PAPER. So I dug through my newspapers and found one more 40% off coupon and back to Ben Franklin I went. I couldn't wait to get started but I wasn't quite "getting it". I knew it had to be easy as we all know Martha Stewart designs things with easy in mind so I searched online for a video to show me how and sure enough here it is if you want to see it in action and then you can run out and buy one or two and be like me, I am punching everything in sight! LOL These are the cute things I made today with it. They also have a spider punch around the page (for Halloween), a snowflakes punch around the page (for Christmas and winter cards) and I think more are coming out in October she said so the possibities are "endless".

Is there a 12 step program for people addicted to punches?

The 2nd card I got the idea from this card here at Splitcoast. I love how she only took part of his head and turned it 3 different ways so I cased it from her.

Only 4 months until Christmas - did you know that??

WOW, where has the summer gone? I decided I better start making my Christmas cards. I am usually done by now and I just have been behind this year so I sat down this morning when Ms. Tudi woke me up real early and made a few using these 2 Stampin Up sets that I got last year. I love these 2 sets. Here's one set.

Back to school shopping and bad timing on my part.

I was doing my back to school shopping at Staples minding my own business when ...
I heard on the loud speaker "If anyone owns a beige Toyota van with license plate number xxxxxxx, please come to the front of the store". Well, I did stop and think but kept on shopping (I do not know my own license plate number) .... I finished my shopping, paid and went out to my van. I noticed a piece of paper under my windshield wiper and then I saw "it". A nice sideswipe on the drivers front side bumper. I could've screamed!!! I called the police so I could have a police report since it was not my fault. The police came and said "if" was under $1,000 damage (which I think it is but I have no idea) then I should just go home and call her insurance company. He called the girl and she apologized. I came home and called her insurance company and they are going to call in a day or so and I have to go out and have them look at it and go from there. At least she left me a note and was honest!! As you can see, I really think it just needs a new paint job. We'll find out in a day or so. I've already talked to her insurance company and I'm waiting to hear where I need to take the car and get an estimate.

You can get it here and then I just added one of my Gorjuss girls to the scene. I kept it mostly black and white and just colored the girl and a few trees and the car. I think I like it just like that. What do you think?

Emily has decided to quit cheerleading ...

Emily spent all last week in cheerleading camp and she came back and decided to quit cheerleading ... she decided all on her own and I told her I would not be mad if she quit so she talked to her coach today and made the decision. I'm not mad at all. I want her to have fun her senior year!! :)

Here's another 70th birthday card I made for Uncle Jimmy

Yes there are 70 actual birthday candles punched out on the birthday cake of this card. Thanks Emily for punching out ALL of this candles for me the other night!!! :)

Debbie and I are in Cincinnati, OH for a surprise 70th birthday party for our Uncle Jimmy (click on each photo to see them larger)

and our cousins Steve and Renee have been planning this party for months!!! Debbie drove up from FL and she dropped off Nathan so Charlie is watching Nathan along with Emily and Nicholas and then we drove up to Cincinnati, just the 2 of us for a few days. 150 people showed up and he was TOTALLY surprised. He did not suspect a thing!!! Here are a few photos from the party ... We had so much fun and just wish mom and dad could've been here too.

Emily is off to cheer camp for 4 days

She leaves at 7 am this morning for cheer camp so I am up bright and early getting her ready to go. Luckily, another mother is driving. By the looks of things, it looks like she is going for 2 weeks. Ha Ha She has enough snacks packed for a month. She must think they aren't going to feed her. She goes up to NC State University so she will get a "taste" of college dorm life for 4 days. That will be interesting too. Debbie and Nathan come on Wednesday. We can't wait!!
