Splitcoast had a challenge this week with faux tearing so I combined this with that challenge. No coloring needed :). I tore a piece of paper and kept moving it over with a different ink color and then just stamped the flowers and the sentiment over top.

Hey there, Beautiful Friend

I have made a 2nd display frame card using Concord & 9th rainbows that I love so much. This is my 2nd attempt at this one because the first one I added a blue sky and for this challenge, only purple PLUS 2 colors were allowed. So I will save that one for another challenge down the road. You can Jennifer McGuire's post on her Display Frame card here. No special dies needed.

This card took me a few tries to make but once I made 2, then it got much easier. Jennifer McGuire showed how to make a display frame card without any special dies so I couldn't wait to try it. Here is her post on her blog  and you can see the video here. I plan on making a few more of these cards while it's fresh on my mind how to make them.

Best Day Ever

Looking forward to sending this to my chemo buddy when she is cancer free. She has her last treatment next week. If you want to find out about this wonderful organization, it's called Chemo Angels and you can read about it here. I was matched up with someone going through chemo and I send her one card a week. I get a monthly update on how she's doing and I love reading ALL of her updates. She's my 4th chemo buddy in 2 years.

Here is another stamp set I got at the big Concord & 9th sale last week. It's called Fringe Frenzy Kit. It was originally $52.00 but marked down to $15.60 so that is 70% off!! The fringe is peeking out behind this window. You can see how it's done here. You can either make the square into a birthday cake or a present. It wasn't hard to make at all since the fringe is a die cut!

As You Like It - Fave tip and use it on your project (I am loving this fringe die cut. To make this peek out from behind, cut a piece of cardstock slightly bigger than the actual hole and then glue the fringe onto that. Don't fluff the fringe until you get it attached).

Soaring by to say Hi

Concord & 9th are having a huge sale right now and tomorrow is the last day!! It started last week and I was working that day but at 11:00 am, I went to the website to place my order. I had an idea what I wanted and these kites were on my list. The background is the Kite Turnabout Stamp. I remember trying these turnabout stamps when they first came out many years ago and I never quite mastered how to get them to line up right but this one has a guide which helps a lot!! 

I love this challenge because these are all my fave colors.

Well, my job was short lived. I have arthritis in my thumbs and it flared up as I was using their hand-held device 6-7 hours a day. I decided that job was not for me. Yesterday was my last day! I am excited to get back into my stamping again. I have really missed it!!

Just Bee-Cause

Has it honestly been almost a week since I posted?  This job is cutting into my crafting time!! This card is rather "scary" but I am posting it anyway. This was hand painted by me so please be gentle in your comments. Splitcoast had a bumble bee challenge a few weeks ago and this fantastic crafter in France sent me her bumble bee card after I commented on it. So that got me into trying it. Mine is not as good as hers but it will do. You can see the video here should you want to try it. 

I also had a tooth implant on Thursday but it's healing nicely and I can't wait to eat normal food real soon. Still eating soft foods - mashed potatoes, pudding, etc.

When I saw this set at Hobby Lobby last week, I had to buy it! I think it would be a great card for men, without the flowers of course!! It's a great set to watercolor and you can build your own scenes.
