On this card, I colored the tree using my Tombow markers. First I colored directly on the stamp using the markers. I stamped it on the paper but it didn't look too good. I tried it again, colored directly on the tree using my Tombows, then squirting it with water and I like the effect when I did that.

I colored the truck with my red Tombow marker after stamping it on watercolor paper.  I felt it was still missing "something" under the truck so I added the washi tape and I think that makes it look a lot better.

You're the Marshmallows in my Hot Chocolate

I have a friend who loves hot chocolate as much as I do so when I saw this stamp by Impression Obsession,  I had to have it. I don't have a hot chocolate stamp verse so I went and checked out Pinterest and found this cute saying. I think it's perfect but I've never tried cinnamon sprinkled on top. I wonder how that would be? LOL

Happy Birthday!

I've been doing these card challenges for about 3 weeks and I really like it when I do the sketches. It makes me think outside of the "box" and I'm really enjoying making these cards using the sketches.

This is my night scene. I sponged the background using Tim Holtz Stormy Sky. I added hills by using Impression Obsession diecuts and I added the moon using a circle die from Memory Box.

I'm a cover girl! lol

On my Facebook newsfeed this morning, up popped up the latest cover of Just Cards magazine!  Guess who made the cover!  Me!!  That's my owl card using a Unity stamp!  I've been submitting cards to Just Cards for many years and have had a lot of cards published but this is the first time on the cover!!  Did you know several companies will give you either free stamps or store credit? Unity is one of those companies so I will get to pick some free stamps. Yay!!!
