I haven't posted anything in over a year???

I know its been over a year since I posted anything on my blog. But guess what? I decided to come back and start posting my cards again.  Not sure if I have anyone still following me but I am going to start participating in some card making challenges and for that I need to put cards on my blog so why not get started back posting to my blog???????

Here are a few cards I've made this summer ...

This was my favorite "go to" stamp set this year that I got at the W. Springfield stamp show when I went to Massachusettes this past June.  I love this stamp set by North Coast Creations and its called You're the Bomb!

Back to school card I sent to my friend Cindee in California.

Each month I participate in Cards for a Cause over at Splitcoast. You can check it out here. Each month they pick a different cause and I really enjoy making the different cards that they need. It makes me get out my stamps that haven't seen ink in a long time and I get the cards made and then they all go to a great cause.

I usually send in between 12-20 each month.

So let's hope I can continue with my blog and post my creations. I just hope I still have some followers. LOL

I haven't posted anything since June?

WOW.  How did this happen?  I've been stamping, I really have. Here a few things I've made recently.

I made these cards for 2015 Cards for a Mission. You can see it here http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/cards-cause-f215/september-2015-mission-cards-cause-t602649.html
I made this card for Tammy in California. I found the airstream trailer image on Etsy. I watercolored the background.

I also made these cards for 2015 Cards for a Mission.

I made this card for Harley, Michelle's granddaughter. She loves purple!

These are the crazy birds by Tim Holtz ...

I got mine from Simon Says Stamp. I had a $5 off coupon and when I saw them, I had to get them. They are really fun to watercolor with the Distress inks, also by Tim Holtz. I think these birds came out at the winter CHA but since I just recently started stamping, they are brand new to me... I just think they are so funny!!

I am loving these crazy birds by Tim Holtz

Here's a few crazy bird cards ...

Card #1 I made for my friend Mary. The bow tie die went perfect from Memory Box!!

Card #2 is for my friend Lesa. She is an 8 year cancer survivor this month!!  YAY!!!!

I have a card I want to post today.

Both images are by Unity. I watercolored the girl using my new Koi watercolor paints (which I LOVE!)

I hope to have more cards to show soon. I've been getting a lot of watercoloring done lately so I need to upload a bunch of my cards I've been making .... Its good to be back!!!

I'm back ................................

18 months later and I'm back!!!  I've actually started to stamp again after a long break.  I lost complete interest in stamping. I tried for MONTHS and nothing was pulling me back in .... I didn't see any new techniques that interested me, no new stamps, no new inks, no new papers ...

That is, until I saw these AMAZING clear flower stamps by Totally Tracy.  Tracy Weinzapfel Stratton!!  Every Monday evening Tracy has a Mixed Media Monday.  You can join here ...

I dug out my acrylic paints and started to stamp and paint cards again!!!  WOOO HOOOO!!!!  This is where I also went for inspiration!!!

Here's what I have been doing the past few days while its been cold and raining outside...

I will be starting a new part-time job soon so hopefully I will have time to create more cards. I'm happy my mojo has returned!  (A big thank you to Amanda Aldridge!! She suggested it)
