HOPE

I lost one of my dearest friends to breast cancer 12 years ago. She was only 35 at the time and I miss her so much!! This cause is near and dear to my heart.

For this card, I got out my gel plate, smeared some pink acrylic paint on it, smeared an old comb over it to get these lines. Stamps by Amuse Stamps

Very sorry to hear about your friend. You've made a beautiful card on her honor and for her memory -I love the artsy looking stripes combined with the contemporary font of the sentiment and sleek lines of the ribbon. Thank you for joining us at Time Out!

Only 35yrs old, that's so young, I hope she was able to squeeze a lifetime of adventures into her 35yrs. Amazing how even after 12yrs you can still miss someone so much, bet you have a lot of great memories. I think your card is amazing, I've never heard of using a comb to create a pattern before, its so cool. The effect is brilliant and adds so much interest to a one-layer design. I'm so very glad you joined us for this special challenge at TIME OUT!! XX
