CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #382 Colors

I'm excited to be picked as the Guest Designer for the month of August at CAS Colours & Sketches. They are doing a color challenge this week (see below). I love this color combo and I could not wait to dig out my new gnome die and color him in different colors. For my colors, I chose all copic colors - Blush R20, Willow G24, Light Prawn R22. I used 2 shades of gray on his beard C1, C3 and his nose is E00.

This Hero Arts stamp set came out 2 years ago and I just now got it. I remember wanting it when it was first came out as it was the first time I had seen "3 step stamping" and this set makes it so easy!! I also had to dig out my Tim Holtz stamp platform which made it super easy lining all the stamps up in the exact spots they needed to be.

Tis the Season to be Jolly

Another tropical Florida or Australian Christmas card (I have a pen pal in Australia so this may go to her as it is Summer down under over the holidays). Since these are digi images I still am not able to figure out how to get Santa in front of the tree and in front of the surf board so I just fussy cut those images and glued them on top. Worked out fine, just took a little longer.

The Crafter's Cafe - Challenge 248 Anything Goes

I cannot believe it's August 1st, can you??? 

For this week's challenge at The Crafter's Cafe, its Anything Goes. I chose this "boy in the window"  silhouette at QKR and you can find it here. I know exactly who I am sending this to for her birthday since she is a HUGE fan of Mickey Mouse.
