When this brand new set came out by Unity Stamps, I had to get it!! You can find it here and it's on sale now!!!  For this card, I made a mask so I could sponge my Oxide inks around the Santa. I colored him using copic markers and then added some Martha Stewart stars for my "bling".

I love this whale set by Memory Box. Its great for birthday cards and baby cards. I made the background using Tim Holtz oxide inks (Salty Ocean) and then splattered it with water droplets. I typed the sentiment on my computer and printed it out. I used my Gelly Roll gold ink pen to outline some of the waves.

Happy Halloween

All of the stores are getting out their Halloween items. I still need to get out my Fall decorations and put them all over my kitchen.

I love this candy corn dog by Impression Obsession. I used the Lawn Fawn magic slider die cut. I colored it with Copic markers.

Since it's almost October, I am on the "prowl" to find anything and everything pumpkin flavored. I love it all!!  I decided to make this cute pumpkin pie card for my sister this year for Thanksgiving since she loves pumpkin pie (and anything else pumpkin flavored as much as I do).

I didn't have a wreath stamp but I do have a "vine" stamp by Right at Home and stamped it all around in a circle to make the wreath. I saw something similar around Halloween that had candy corns all over the wreath (maybe Lawn Fawn?) and that brought me to my idea with pumpkin pies all around it. I lightly stamped Happy Thanksgiving in Spiced Marmalade onto the orange cardstock so it wasn't so plain.

Cards in Envy - Easy as 1, 2, 3

For this week's challenge at Cards in Envy, the challenge is Easy as 1, 2, 3 ... You can see the challenge here. All cards must fit into a standard size envelope for easy mailing. 

I love this cat so much!!  Isn't he just the cutest???? I stamped him on watercolor paper using Ranger Archival Ink and then I colored him using my Tombow markers with water. I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Oxide inks and stamped the sentiment in the same matching ink.

It's your birthday? Alpaca my party hat!

I just got this stamp set today from my stamp store. I love it!  I came home and made this birthday card for a friend's birthday that's in 2 weeks. The alpaca comes with 4 different faces you can add to him. Funny huh?

I made the background stripes using my Peerless watercolors and water.
Just brushed on different colors and let each one dry
before doing the next stripe. I am sending this to a friend
who is having knee surgery today.
I hope it cheers her up!

Cards in Envy - Cheers to You

Cards in Envy's first challenge for September is "Cheers to You" (Congratulations or Celebrate). You can see the challenge here. All cards must fit into a standard size envelope for easy mailing. 

I made this Congratulations card using a stamp from Technique Junkies. I got this stamp at the Stamp Convention in Columbia, SC when I went in February. It's such an easy image to use because all you do is stamp in solid ink and add a sentiment, and it makes a great card!  The embossed background came from a pack of ONLY embossing cardstock and I love it :).
