Star Stampz - Inspired by a Song (who remembers the Winnie the Pooh song? Can be heard here on you tube.
I made this card for a Black Ice challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. All you need is Staz-On black ink OR a permanent black ink. My Staz-on ink was bone dry so I used my Archival ink. You also need a metallic cardstock so I went with gold here. You swipe the permanent ink across your cardstock very lightly, then stamp your image using the same ink. Dry with a heat gun. It must be dry before going to the next step. Then, swipe some Versamark over top of that and add some clear embossing powder, dry with heat gun and you get these results. You can see the written instructions at Splitcoast Stampers here. Who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh?
Speaking of black ice, we have plenty here today and I hope it melts soon. Can't get out of our driveway due to the ice but it's supposed to warm up to 50 F so let's hope it melts. We in NC haven't had any snow for 3 years so we are not used to this cold stuff sticking around. It started snowing/icing on Friday and here it is Monday.
