Our 2020 Christmas selfie with Tino wearing
his Christmas hat (I couldn't find all of our hats)

Kids baking Christmas cookies (our tradition on Christmas Eve)

Yes, our grand-dog Tino is very spoiled LOL

Emily got me this neat snowman, made out of book pages.
She found him on Etsy. He came flat in a box and we had
to use a hair dryer to "fluff" the pages. It took awhile!

My walk last night at 5 pm, while dinner was in the oven.

Me walking at 27 degrees but with the wind chill
it felt 17. I was cold but I got in 30 minutes.

Our Christmas Tree

We put up our Christmas tree a week before Thanksgiving this year, the earliest we've ever put it up!! But I love the lights, I love the decorations, I love it all!! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. We are having a much smaller gathering today, just our 2 kids and us. Normally I cook for 15 people but we decided not to risk it this year.

Merry Christmas silhouette

This is one of my favorite Christmas cards I made this year. The die cut is from Spellbinders and I found it on sale last year at Hobby Lobby for like $4. I had to get it. It actually has a cat behind the kids but I cut it out and added this little dog because I sent it to my godchild since they have a chihuahua. For the sunset, I got the idea from someone else who did the same thing online and I CASE'D her card from the Spellbinders website here. It was a very easy card to make :). I embossed the sentiment.

I woke up feeling much better from my pulled muscle and is all good again :).

Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas plaid gnome

2 days before Christmas and I pulled a muscle in my back or my thigh. Not sure which! Spent all day yesterday in bed. UGH!

I made this plaid background by taking Kristina Warner's watercolor Christmas class back in September. It is so easy to do. I added this gnome die cut by Gina Marie Designs and it makes for an easy Christmas card.

Happy Birthday

Christmas is in 3 days. Are YOU ready? I'm ready. This is the first time I have had EVERYTHING bought and wrapped since about Dec 5th. I figure, why wait? Why not get it all done? Kids told us what they wanted and I got everything early so I'm ready!!

I made a few masculine cards using this moose die cut. I'm not even sure where I got it. I have had it a few years and "found" it in my stash.

Dreaming of a white Christmas

I decided to make a stencil background using my tree birch die cut. I love how it came out. I just laid it down on top of a piece of white cardstock and used my brushes to blend it on. Stamp and die cut by Catherine Pooler. We almost NEVER have a white Christmas here in NC, but I heard on the weather just yesterday we have a small chance this year of getting about 2" of the pretty white stuff so my fingers are crossed :).

We will be Friends Forever

These digi stamps from Angie Blom are so fun to color! I sent a few of these cards to friends when we were in lock down in May and who would ever have thought we would still be battling this Covid in December and it's not going away anytime soon :(. Hang in there everybody!!

Happy Birthday!

I just love this stamp and die cut stamp set by Concord & 9th. I find that I am reaching for it over and over and I decided to make a bunch of these in 2021 for birthdays. All different colors of course. It folds flat in an envelope to mail and it's pretty easy to put it together with the die cuts.
