I got a new chemo buddy this week and I decided to put a picture of me in this tv stamp. I bought this last year and just now using it.

I Love Snow (after it melts! LOL)

When Impression Obsession closed its doors after almost 30 years, I was sad. So sad. I have loved their stamps from the very beginning!!  But then Sweet Miss Daisy who designed stamps for them announced she had her very own stamps coming out on her Etsy account, I was happy again. So I had to buy this set called Charming. I paired him up with a tree from Catherine Pooler Designs and added some hand drawn hearts so I can send it out for Valentines Day. Isn't he the cutest? You can see her stamps and paper pads here at Etsy. It looks like this snowman set is out of stock again, 2nd time in a few weeks!! Looks like he will be re-stocked Feb 1st. He's fun to color and watercolor and I just had to have him in my collection. Anna Wight will be adding a stamp or some each month I believe she said.

Sending this one to our daughter who lives in FL. She did not get any of that crazy snow but she said she was cold enough, it should've. LOL  She does not miss the little bit of snow we get in NC. And we did get hit twice this week and haven't had any snow in 3 years.

I have had this stamp by Eat Cake Graphics for at least 10 years. I pulled it out and made a splotchy background using my Distress Spritz ink sprays. I still don't have these figured out yet. But I'll just keep trying!

Black Ice Technique with Winnie the Pooh

Star Stampz - Inspired by a Song (who remembers the Winnie the Pooh song? Can be heard here on you tube. 

I made this card for a Black Ice challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. All you need is Staz-On black ink OR a permanent black ink. My Staz-on ink was bone dry so I used my Archival ink. You also need a metallic cardstock so I went with gold here. You swipe the permanent ink across your cardstock very lightly, then stamp your image using the same ink. Dry with a heat gun. It must be dry before going to the next step. Then, swipe some Versamark over top of that and add some clear embossing powder, dry with heat gun and you get these results. Speaking of black ice, we have plenty here today and I hope it melts soon. Can't get out of our driveway due to the ice but it's supposed to warm up to 50 F so let's hope it melts. We in NC haven't had any snow for 3 years so we are not used to this cold stuff sticking around. It started snowing/icing on Friday and here it is Monday.

It's Time to Celebrate You!

How fun is this watch card?  This is by The Stamp Market and I just fell in love with it when it came out in June. She offers the cutest card kit ever each month and this was offered back in June. It sold out fast and I missed it. Fortunately, she brought it back in November and said she would order more but we would get them the first week of January. So I have been patiently waiting and it came yesterday. I have already made 3 cards and I just love it so much!! All stamps and die cuts by The Stamp Market.

Expecting 1-4" of white fluffy snow tomorrow into Saturday. It's been 3 years since we've seen snow!! (oh wait! We just saw a 1/2" a few weeks ago but it melted pretty fast)

I made this for a guy who recently had a kidney transplant. He loves gumball machines and on Splitcoast they asked for cards while he recovers. No gumball machine stamp here but I thought of this cute "Bubble gum" image by Mo's Digi Stamps I have had for several years.

Hey there, Valentine

My first post of the new year. Can't believe it's 2025. Next week hubby has hernia surgery (Monday) and Friday I will have a radiofrequency ablation on my neck. The ablation is not surgery, its where they go in with needles in the back of your neck and burn the nerves. Hopefully this will bring me some relief for months to come and I can craft longer since my neck pain has been limiting me with my crafting time.
