Christmas Blessings

WOW, what a week we've had!! Hurricane Helene gave us winds up to 56 mph in my area but we are all ok. Never even lost power here at the house. We were prepared though. The mountains of NC are just devastating. Some towns completely washed away. It's really sad!! We are about 3 hours from the mountains. My mom, sister and daughter are all down in FL. It hit way north of them but my sister is still without power and it's 90 degrees. Emily had to evacuate her apartment and went to my sisters with her dog and fish and Emily now has power so hopefully Debbie will go to her place to at least cool off in the air conditioning, recharge her cell phone and take a hot shower. Emily is so glad she left because those who did not had water 4 feet up to the car and the water was inside their cars so they were all trying to dry them out.

Sherri: Thanks for the report and updates about your place and some of your Florida family. I've got some cousins that I'm waiting to hear from in the Orlando area and several in different parts of Georgia, too, to see how they're faring. My b-i-l's 93 year old mother is still in her home about an hour or so north of Tallahassee. I'm hoping she went to stay with a niece or nephew. Her other son is up in the Atlanta metro area, so we're concerned about them as well. Now about your card and supplies. I didn't know that IO was going out of business. That's sad to hear. This Christmas tree is stunning! Thanks for being our first entry for #96! The stamp design makes me think of little keepsakes that have been given over the course of many years that have found their way to be grouped on a little tree. Precious! --Becca

Great card and good news that you're safe after everything that has been going on.

Thanks for joining me at the Rudolph Days Challenge.
