Big Hugs

I did a Concord & 9th summer card class and this is one of the dies in the set. You would think this would be an easy card but lining up those little lines and coloring each a different color took some time!!

We have Emily's dog here for 8 days while she is in Africa and with the fireworks last night, he was shaking like a leaf. I had to sleep with him in the guest bedroom and we finally both fell asleep at 1 am. They were so loud on the street behind us. With it being so dry (no rain), I can't believe all the people who shot them off, especially when it's illegal in NC. Oh well.

My first Christmas card of the season!! I used a sprinkles stencil by Taylored Expressions to put on the background using Hero Arts white ink, although it looks pink on the red background. I fluffed up the fringe but it's hard to tell on the tree. It's a really easy card to make and I got it in their sale at the end of last year so I never made any cards with it until now.

I sent this to a 27 year old battling cancer. He has finished chemo but now has to do radiation to get it all. I sure hope he can fight it! So young!! He's a beatles lover!!
