Sympathy card

I always have a hard time coming up with sympathy cards. I actually CASED this card from this blog, because I really loved how it came out. I just decided to make mine a sympathy card. What do you think? Does it need anything else?

For the blue monochrome look, I inked up my Tombow markers and colored directly onto an acrylic block (using 3 different blues), sprayed with water and inked directly onto the watercolor paper. Let it dry before I stamped my birds.

Star Stampz - Monochrome
Stamps and Stencils - Birds
Inkspirational - Watercolor Smooshing
Sweet Stampin' - Anything But Birthday

Sympathy verse by Technique Junkie
Bird stamp by Repeat Impressions

What a lovely card! Perfect design for a sympathy card. I also struggle with designs for these cards. Great use of smooshing with the dual colored blue. Thanks for playing with us at Inkspirational!

This is a lovely sympathy card. They are difficult to make, especially to send to a man but this one would be perfect. Thanks for joining us at Stamps and Stencils.
