So we woke up to about 1" of snow

Yep, that was it!! Oh well, better than nothing I say. The school automated system woke me up at 5 am to tell me school was cancelled for today and our make up day is next Wednesday. We had a long weekend coming up but now its been shortened by 1 day. We'll see if we have school tomorrow. Nicholas was determined to try the sled out, even if you could still see the grass poking through the snow :). He didn't go too fast but he went down the hill a few times.

Time to go drink some hot chocolate and get warmed up :).

Y'all are so cute ! Out playing in the snow ! We're used to it here in Ohio but we still get thrilled when we get a snowstorm. Haven't had much this year :( Kids haven't been able to go sledding.

No school with only an inch! Wow.. but I remember being in Williamsburg one time and they were talking about a snow storm coming through and they started shutting the town down before it even got there! LOL

Have snow much fun today!

Great pics - you look like you're enjoying the snow as much as the children! TFS. :)

It looks like a snow sneeze as we call that little amount of snow here in WI! LOL! Looks like you are all having fun in the snow! We are getting more snow right now!

I agree with Kim LOL. 1-3 and they cancel school, we have to get about 8-10 before they even consider. We're supposed to get 2-3 today, it didn't make it here last night. It is snowing now but not much. Enjoy the snow. Loved your pics.
