Leaves are Falling, Autumn is Calling

I had no leaf die cuts so I had to remedy that and get these from Newton's Nook. They aren't too big and not too small so I love them!

We finally woke up to much cooler temperatures in the Carolina's this morning - 59 degrees!! Oh did that feel great when I walked this morning!! Of course, it won't last but I am enjoying it as long as it does last!!  Sure beats upper 90's!!

Snowman

This is for all the cat lovers out there. I saw someone else make a card with this image and thought how cute!! I found it at CC Designs here. I outlined the snowman in my Copic BG10. For this one sketch I had to add 3 little "things" to each top corner and I could not find anything so I got out my tiny hole puncher and just punched out 6 red circles and adhered to card. I need to do this more often!!

You're the Pumpkin Spice in my latte

Whenever I see a kraft challenge, I panic!! I have the hardest time with kraft cardstock but I always love my card once I make it. This one took me a few tries to get it just right but I do like it. This is an old stamp set from Lawn Fawn and I find myself always digging it out around this time of year.  I also dug out my colored pencils because I always like using those on kraft cardstock. It's hard to tell but I popped up the pumpkin spice bottle :).

It's no secret I love anything with pumpkin. As soon as September hits, I am searching in stores for anything and everything pumpkin. This week I hit the jackpot and found these at Target.com. No need to even leave the house!! YEAH!!!! I drink that premier protein every single morning but in chocolate so I was excited when I saw it comes in pumpkin. It's pretty good too!!

Cut It Up Challenge #208 Wheels on the Bus - Use Wheels

On our challenge at Cut It Up this week, we are to use wheels on our card. For mine, I used this wonderful unicycle by Avery Elle. Isn't it adorable? I made my sky using my Hero Arts stencil sky background and it's real easy to do using my brushes by The Stamp Market. I find the less ink you use, the better it goes on. It was a learning curve for me with this stencil and these brushes but I think I have it mastered. (I think!)

I can't wait to see your wonderful creation with your "wheels" on your cards. Don't forget the die cuts.

Lucky Me to Have a Friend Like You

I'm excited to be the Guest Star Stamper at Color Throwdown this week for challenge #609. First, I sponged the sky using my Stamp Market brushes and Catherine Pooler's colors Suede Shoes and Flirty Fuchia with my Hero Arts sky stencil. It took me a few tries before I liked the results. I stamped the gnome image (Stamping Bella) onto Bristol cardstock and colored him with my Catherine Pooler inks and water. I fussy cut him out and first, I tried centering it onto the card but then I thought why not put it off the left side of the card. Using my Martha Stewart punch, I cut out the grass and since I didn't have that shade of green cardstock (how can this be?), I colored it with my Tombow marker to make it match.

The Crafter's Cafe #250 Anything Goes - Just For Fun

At The Crafter's Cafe this week, our challenge is Anything Goes - Just For Fun. I decided to get out my scalloped die set by Concord & 9th to make the base for my card. This was a set that came out for Valentine's Day and I find myself reaching for it all the time!! I stamped the frog and colored him with Copics, fussy cut him out and glued him next to the cat tails stencil. A friend sent me this set by Rabbit Hole Designs and I think I have already used it 5 times in a month! The sun and bird die cuts are both by Gina Marie Designs and the "hi" is a die cut from Concord & 9th.

I can't wait to see what you make for our Anything Goes challenge at The Crafter's Cafe.

I will also add this to the following challenges:
