I had no teal watercolors so I had to google how to make teal and it's a royal blue with a lime green. Who knew? This house mouse stamp always makes me smile. I found him at Tuesday Morning on clearance for $2 a few years ago before my Tuesday Morning closed.

I would have never guessed at the way to make the color teal either. I thought purple was going to be easy last week until I mixed it up 4 times. Anyhow.........
ReplyDeleteI love the color teal and it looks great on your card. It always cracks me up that this mouse is playing catch with the crab with the sharp pinchers. So cute. Thank you for joining us at HMFMC. {Bunny} Designer for House Mouse and Friends
Hope that crab doesn't burst the beach ball, beautifully coloured image and card
ReplyDeleteI had teal inks, but I had to google the color too! It's a tricky one! Your card is adorable! Thanks for playing along at The Rainbow Card Challenge!
ReplyDeleteWe are neighbors in the gallery at Rainbow Challenge. I love Tuesday Morning, never know what you will find and buy it if you like it cuz it will not be there when you go back. Thanks for the tip on teal. My green and blue oxides did a pretty good job, such that when I mixed in a little dark teal from a stamp pad it worked.
ReplyDeleteYour card is so cute! I love how you made the color "teal." I will have to remember that. Thanks for sharing at HMFMC. xx

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun image, but looks like trouble for the beach ball, ha ha.
