Fall is here in the Carolina's and it's a chilly 46 degrees here this morning. I LOVE LOVE LOVE cooler weather and love it will only be in the 70's all weekend long!! Halloween isn't far off so here's another Halloween card I made.

I recently won a $20 gift card to Altenew. I can't believe I had never bought any of their stamps. Anyway, I chose this cute bear and he's easy to stamp up (2 step stamping). No coloring needed, except for the stenciled clouds. I used washi tape for the road.

I am sending this to an online friend who lives in England and we have never met. Her and I used to play the word game "Ruzzle" on our phones and I found out she used to make cards many years ago. She's turning 89 this year.

Cozy Winter bear

Meet Cozy Winter, Tim Holtz's latest cutest ever bear!! At least I think so!! It is 7 die cuts but I had to have him. And the woodpecker is super cute too. Just colored them both with Oxide inks and copic markers and added some fun Distress Mica flakes at the bottom for snow. The mica flakes just attach using Glossy Accents. I bought my bear from Scrapbook.com if you want to take a look.

I WAS planning on making a few of these cards for winter birthdays but my poor thumb just won't let me make them now so I will have to put up this die cut for a few months I guess :(. I got 3 total made but that's better than none I guess.

I snagged this when Concord & 9th had this stamp and die set for 70% off and I love playing with it. I've already mailed one card with it and I stuck a post-it note with it saying "if the fringe is laying down, just fluff back up". She said it was fine as it was so I guess it wasn't too flat :)

So I have found as long as I don't stamp too much at one time, I can still stamp! :) This card went together pretty fast. I had fun coloring him and these pumpkins. This is a smaller slimline card. I really like this smaller size :).

It's getting harder and harder for me to stamp because my thumbs hurt so bad but surgery is near, Oct 15th. Just trying to get all my Fall and Christmas cards done before then.

I used the new Distress Mica Stain here and you can't tell here, but it does have some shimmer. I love it for Halloween cards.

Happy Wedding Day!

Next month my godchild, Mindy gets married to her high school sweetheart. I made her a tower fold card and her favorite color is yellow so I paired it with the color gray. I didn't have any gray cardstock so I had to use my copic markers to color in the gray. I love this wedding image by Unity Stamps. I didn't even color it, I think it's beautiful "as is".
