I picked up this "Pier" stamp in a used stamp sale online. It's by Technique Junkie. For the background, I used Color Burst and then stamped the image on top of it once it dried. The sentiment is by Unity Stamps.

One layer cards can be hard sometimes but this stamp was quick and easy for this card. For this card, I punched out some circles which made a mask and I used my Distress Inks to color them in. Super easy!

I made this card for my son's girlfriend who turns 21 on Monday. I paper pieced her shirt and hat and colored her jeans and flowers with Jane Davenport watercolor paints.

It definitely feels like Spring here in the Carolina's!!

Another get well card & my goodies from the stamp show in Columbia, SC

SSAT had their annual stamp convention in Columbia, SC this past weekend. Of course, I had to go :). There were only 24 vendors there and I feel like it gets smaller every year but somehow I managed to come home with awesome things!!

Today is a NO WHITE card for a no-white challenge. I stamped my images onto kraft cardstock. I paper pieced the dog's "cast". This would be a cute get well card that I hope would cheer someone up.

It's Your Story to Write

I got out my embossing folder and tried to do this technique that I had never tried before. I saw it last week and you ink up your embossing folder BEFORE putting it through your machine and then you emboss it with the ink already on it and voila, this is what I came up with. I really like how it came out!!  I then paper pieced her dress :).

I decided to make this same card using my new tiny circle die from Gina Marie Designs. If you haven't checked out her dies, they are very reasonably priced and they shipped them super fast. You can see the dies here. Lots of dies I had never seen before. This little circle die I used is called Dot Studs on Both Sides.
