Snowman Scene - I'm Ready for the Tail!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate! We had everyone over for our annual spaghetti and it's always a hit!! Today I am relaxing and making a few cards for the new year. We had some stormy weather earlier but it's all clear right now. Emily, our daughter from FL was here for the week but left a day early due to the horrible weather they were calling for so she went back on Saturday. It was great having her home (and her dog Tino). 

You'll see us below baking our annual Christmas sugar cookies in our matching aprons I sewed a few years ago.

I watercolored this in blue and purples for this challenge and added my daughter's dog to the bottom.

House Mouse popping popcorn

One of my favorite House Mouse stamps. I added a little gel gold pen to the popcorn kernels and used some Yellow Nuvo drops for the candles. This is going to be a friend's birthday card for January. I really think this could be made masculine too using blues or greens. Colored it with watercolors.

May this Special Season be Wrapped in Love and Joy

I can't believe Christmas is only 6 days away. I am just about ready. Presents all bought, wrapped, just finishing up last minute things before our daughter and grand-dog come home on Sunday for the week. I am very excited about that!

This card I did for a challenge at Splitcoast and it's called 3D Stamping, Faux Embossing and you can see it done here. It's actually very easy.

I have a hard time making "splatters" so I finally bought Tim Holtz' splatter brush on Amazon and some White Picket Fence Distress Paint and it's super easy to make the splatters now. The brush is a flat brush and it is so much easier than a regular old paintbrush!!

This is one of my group of cards I actually sold 2 packages of 6 at my recent craft fair. I was so excited!! I actually sold 4 sets total that day but the other 2 were different than this one. All stamps by Concord & 9th.
