Our daughter was here from FL from the hurricane. She went back yesterday. Her apartment had minor issues (water coming in at windows) so she was very lucky.

Family is all ok from the hurricane. No power and it could be a couple of weeks before they get it :(.

Sending this to my sister for Halloween who loves skeletons. 

Update on Hurricane Milton which is now a category 5 hurricane but expected to be a category 4 when it makes landfall. It's still unknown where it will hit and the Tampa Bay area has not had a direct hit for 103 years - Our daughter Emily decided to drive back to NC (where we live) on Sunday. My sister and mom live near where the hurricane is supposed to hit. They are not leaving. They are both on high ground and staying in place. Emily was in a much more flooding zone. I'm glad she's here. They were just hit with Hurricane Helene a few weeks ago and were without power for 4 days. I think this time will be much longer. Prayers needed for all of Florida right now. It's just devastating to watch!

This card is similar to one I have already made but I did a mirror image of the trees on this one. All stamps by Unity Stamps.

Boo - Mummy!

This card was fun to make. All I did was take a piece of kraft cardstock, ripped up some white sheets of paper and glued them on to make a mummy. Added some eyes and "Boo" at the bottom. Nice and easy!!

Snowman Tote

Before Impression Obsession went out of business, I had to get their latest snowman die set!! Isn't he cute? I put it on a large tote paper purse and will sell him in my upcoming craft fair this weekend. Did I tell you I sold $55 at my last craft show? I was so excited since I had only sold $16 at the one prior to that. These tote die cuts (perfect for candy/jewelry/or gift cards) are by Concord & 9th and no longer available, I don't think. They were flying off the shelves so I have 18 more to go this weekend. Wish me luck!

Life is S'more Fun With You

It's been awhile since I made a slimline card but here is one because I could not fit everything onto a standard size card. Stamps by Taylored Expressions. Leaf die by Papertrey Ink with different strips of patterned paper cut out. I will send this to my chemo buddy.

We continue to get updates on our friends in the mountains of NC and it is truly heartbreaking. I hate to see all those trapped in their homes and cannot get out. They have no food, no water, no electric, no cell service. It's just devastating!!
