I love ALL summer fruit but my favorite is strawberries. I love these berries by The Greetery. I even found some pink strawberries the other day and I didn't like them as well. They were supposed to be a cross between a pineapple and a strawberry but to me they tasted like unripened regular strawberries so I will not be buying them again.

Isn't this toaster the cutest? :) It's by the Greetery and you can find it here
The Paper Players - Anything You Eat
This is just watercolored stripes in different shades of green with my paint brush and watercolors. I used a sentiment from Concord & 9th. My first Christmas card of the season. It's hard to be in the mood to make Christmas cards when it is near 100 degrees F out today.

All stamps and dies by The Greetery |
This card was fun to make but it did take me awhile. The candles are all one die cut so I cut that out in 1 cut. I then watercolored each candle a different color. Then I had some stamps for some that have stripes so I stamped the stripes on just some of them. All die cuts and stamps are by The Greetery. The sentiment inside is by Papertrey Ink. The white ink is Hero Arts pigment ink and I used that on the candle "lights" and the inside sentiment since its a black card. I will have to sign the card in my white signo pen. The cake inside was just glued in there behind the surprise door. (hard to tell there are cake layers on the cake inside). I also added some Glossy Accents to the frosting inside for a shiny effect. I love this little surprise door (also by The Greetery), I am already thinking of other cards I can use this for. It comes in a set of 3 die cuts - they are called Hidden Message Dies and you can see them here.

As You Like It - Favorite Plain or Patterned Papers - I prefer plain papers so I can decorate them myself. I do have lots of patterned papers but I find myself steering more away from them than I used to.
I used my Tim Holtz watercolor crayons for these and I just love how they blend so beautiful and easily.

This is such a fun set from The Greetery. I used white Hero Arts ink for the background flames and Stickles glitter for the candle wicks. I watercolored the candles with my Tim Holtz watercolor crayons. I also love how they blend with water so easily.
Make My Monday - Birthday
Last month's Hero Arts Stamp Set of the Month really hit it out of the park!! They make it so easy to make your ocean scenes like this. I have enjoyed playing with this set in so many different combinations and I am still experimenting with the colors of the ocean. I use either my Catherine Pooler inks or my Tim Holtz Oxides. The new Hero Arts July kit comes out today (I think) and they always sell out so I've got my eyes ready to see what's in store for July.
