Happy Easter Mini Moo

Have you ever heard of a "mini moo?" It's similar to a ATC card but it's 1/2 the size of a business card. Anyway, I have been stamping for 30 years and this was the first I had heard of this term. Splitcoast had a mini moo challenge last week and I stuck mine on a card and added some doodling around the edges. I thought it would be good for this challenge. You can see all the other mini moos at Splitcoast here .

Happy Easter duo bunnies

My fractured toe is continuing to heal and I still cannot put a shoe on my right foot. In fact, my left hip was hurting so bad from being lop-sided due to the boot I had to wear on my foot, that I had to go to the hip dr last week to get a cortisone shot in it. It's much better thank goodness and I hope it stays that way! My hip was worse than the toe!!

I still love these Easter bunnies from Sizzix (from last year).

Cake Pops for 60th Birthday

Another 60th birthday card for a friend. PS My toe is starting to feel much better. I can now walk without my "boot" on around the house but I still can't fit a normal shoe on without it hurting. Hopefully, I can put that shoe on in a few days!! It's still very bruised and sore but not as bad when I put the foot down to walk. Thanks for all the well wishes!

Sending Bear Hugs

Well guess what I did this week!! I jammed my pinky toe into my bed and fractured it!! So I am in a boot all week and it has not been fun hobbling around in it. It makes me off balance so I don't wear it unless I have to. I hope I'm all better by next week. I already feel better and I did that on Wednesday. Today is hubby's birthday and luckily we have no plans! 

I colored this bear with my new Tim Holtz watercolor pencils. I just love how they go on like "butter". I also used a little wax paper to get the texture on the bear's fur. It's really easy to do. You can see it done here. It's called Pencil Indenting.
