Happy Halloween (today is the day!)

It's Halloween in the USA and we are expecting about 15-20 trick or treaters. In years past, we haven't had that many so I am excited to have that many!! We've always lived on streets where the houses were too spread out so literally some years, we have had NONE :(. I love seeing all the cute costumes.

One more card like this and this may look like all the others I've made but this bat is painted black where I think the other bats were all white. LOL I just love this stamp by Purple Onion Designs!! In fact, Purple Onion Designs came out with their new winter stamps yesterday and these critters are just the cutest. Take a look here! Yes, I have some coming my way and I can't wait!

I made multiple versions of this card and I colored this background with my Copic markers but it hurt my hand so much (I'm getting thumb surgery in January) that I literally only made this one with a colored background. No others.

I made a Pinwheel Tower Fold card for my cousin who recently had emergency open heart surgery. No prior health issues and she is only 59 years old. You can see the video here. It goes together very quick and it's very easy to do!

2022 Calendar

Tomorrow was SUPPOSED to be my surgery on my right thumb but the dr has postponed it until January. Since I also need my left thumb done 3-4 months after the first one, I do think it's better to wait and get it all done in 1 calendar year, since my co-pay will have been met after the first surgery. So I will just take it easy until then :). 

I make this calendar each year for some friends. It's 4x6 and I attach it to a frame that is easily able to change each month. When I knew I was having surgery, I made sure to get them done beforehand. It took me over a week to do and I worked on a couple of months at a time. I printed off the monthly calendar.

Yummy - Pumpkin Pie!

 I used a bit of white Nuvo drops for the cool whip on the pumpkin pie :). I cut strips of cardstock and stuck them behind the mice :).
