May this be your best birthday ever

I can't believe this is the last day of March. I always put up my hummingbird feeder at this time and I can't wait to see some hummingbirds come by. I hope they come soon even though we are expecting another cold front this week. I mix 4 cups of water to 1 cup of sugar and I boil it on the stove for about a minute then I refrigerate what I don't use. I will have that last for about 2 weeks.

So Happy For You

It's been awhile since I played with my Zig watercolor markers. For some reason, I always grab for my Koi watercolor paints and I had put my Zigs away. Why did I put them away? I have no idea. I probably was cleaning off my desk, put them away and forgot to get them back out. I got them out and decided to try this acrylic block coloring technique that Lydia showed on her blog last week. Once again, Lydia amazes me with all of her techniques and I always love trying new things. All you need is a stamp, watercolor ink pad, watercolors of some kind, an extra acrylic block and a little squirt bottle of water. This is super easy!!

Ice cream solves everything

I am in love with this Stamping Bella image. I colored it with my Koi watercolors, then added a touch of Ink on 3 Liquid Pixie Dust. It takes awhile to dry but I do like it. You paint it on with a paint brush and its got teeny tiny glitter in it.

Hello

I stamped this girl onto watercolor cardstock using Archival Ink, then I stamped a 2nd image and cut around it so I could use it as a mask. I placed the mask on top and sponged on some Oxide Inks, Lucky Clover, Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn. Nice and simple:).

May your holiday sparkle

This is the 2nd die I found on sale at Hobby Lobby last week by Spellbinders. I didn't have any gold paper so I cut it out in white, used a little Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs on it and then put a light coat of Stickles on it. I'm not sure I love it and it took me a few tries to get the picture just right!! But I will add this to my Christmas card stash for the upcoming year :).

Moose be Easter
