The love of Pinterest

I love Pinterest!!  I pin lots of cute cards onto my many Pinterest boards and I never do anything with them. I have intentions of making them but never get around to it. When I saw this card that Lesa pinned, I had to try it and I "think I like it".  What do you think?  You can see the original card here http://pinterest.com/pin/239676011390023479/  I need to work on my birdies :). It was still fun to make though.

New A Muse Studio Halloween stamps are out!!!

I know Halloween is still MONTHS away but this is when I start thinking about creating my Halloween cards. The new A Muse Studio Holiday Hoopla has the cutest Halloween and Christmas stamps out!  I got mine in the mail and I just couldn't wait to make some cards with this set.

 I thought I would make a card using each of the different characters in this set to show how cute these are. In the card above, I used the new mummy with Splash spray colors for the background. The Splash spray dries really quick after spraying it on. I used Orange and Blackberry colors. I also sprayed the twine with Blackberry Splash spray and it matches just perfectly!!  In the left hand top corner, I used some of the bats from the Bat die that A Muse Studio sells.

Card #2 uses the pumpkin girl and isn't she just the cutest too?  Again, I sprayed the Splash Blackberry on and then sprayed more Orange Splash on top of that to get a totally different look. On this card, I cut out blackberry bats :).

You're the Bestest "Aunt" in the whole wide world

I made this for my Aunt Charlie in Fairfield, OH. I can't remember who this flower stamp is made by but I am thinking its Unity. I stamped it on a white piece of cardstock then I cut it into sections. The sentiment is by A Muse Studio.  Happy Birthday to Aunt Charlie!!!!

Halloween is ONLY 81 days away!

My order came from AMuse Studio today so I had to play with my frankenstein image first. Isn't the new chevron paper wonderful?  I love it too and it comes in a variety of colors from A Muse Studio.

Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake!!

I guess I won't go on and on and on about this is Lesa's last year in her 40's. Her and I were both born in the wonderful year of 1963 so that is how I know this. Next year I will be 50 too.  WOW!!  I hate just writing it! LOL  Anyway, she and I both love cupcakes so I thought it would be only fitting to make her this card with a cupcake on it!!! 

Word Search birthday card ...

So I came across this word search site on the web

and thought how neat to make a birthday card out of it.  I thought of a bunch of words that Charlie's mom would know and I incorporated them into a card. She loved it!!  Here it is.  On the back, I stuck the answers.  No stamping involved!
