Less is More "challenge"

We were to Pick a Square. Then split the card into four corners and the center square and then choose which square to use for our image and leave the rest as white space.

This was right up my alley. I love cards with lots of white space. So this one was an easy one and I love how it came out :).

I love this new set I got from A Muse Studios this week

I got an email from A Muse Studios last week

that I made "Senior Associate". WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got to pick 2 stamp sets at 50% off so that was very exciting. I chose Hand Scripted and Life's a Breeze. I love these sets!!

I made a few more mini cards to add to the perfume selling ...

These are just one-sided and I think I like these better than the bigger ones but I will have both to choose from ...

While working at Belks yesterday,

I brought in some Father's day cards I had made with my A Muse stamps. I actually sold 2 cards to the girl who works in the jewelry dept. Here is what I made ... I am also thinking about giving out a handmade Fathers Day card with every purchase of cologne. I sell Nautica and Tommy Bahama. Come out and smell them, they smell good!!!

My godchild Mindy has her dance recital tomorrow night. I won't be able to go because its our 20th anniversary. Happy Anniversary Charlie!! We've had a great 20 years!!

White on White Color Challenge

WOW, this was harder than I thought it would be. I'm not sure I've ever made an all-white card in the 10 years I have been stamping. So this is it - my first all-white card!! The blog "Less is More" is having a challenge where you make a card using ONLY WHITE.

Well, what do you think????? Its hard to get white to show up on white paper. I used glitter on top of the stamped image to make it show up more.

WOW. I haven't updated my blog in a week!!

See? That's what happens when I start working!! LOL I had a busy day at Belks on Friday and Saturday. Sold $600 so I thought that was pretty good. I was so busy on Saturday, I never stopped all day!!! We now Emily home for the summer and all is good :).

These cute baby birds were just hatched in this teeny tiny nest (about 3" in size).

WOW, 16 years has passed since I had you. When you first came out, none of us (including the doctors and nurses) could believe you were close to 10 POUNDS!! I knew you would be big since I felt HUGE. Here I was 3 days before I delivered you. Happy 16th!!!

Another fun A Muse blog hop!

First, I stamped the flowers in Orange ink from A Muse. These flowers are from the Graphic Sunflower A Muse set.

Next, I stamped the stems in Fern and I used the Mad for Plaids A Muse set.

Last but not least, I stamped the butterfly in bubblegum pink and the Congratulations in Orange A Muse ink. The butterfly is from Just Because and the sentiment is from the Past Due set.

I added bubblegum pink buttons (from A Muse) and got this as my final card on orange A Muse cardstock.
