While at Stampers Alley last week, I met "Carla"
and she was going to do a craft fair in Huntersville this weekend. She asked me if I wanted to share her space so I said sure.
I sold 17 necklaces this time so I was happy with that amount. It was a little more crowded than the last craft show I did and people seemed to be buying this time around.
So to date, I have sold 80 washer necklaces - not bad for 3 months time, huh? :)

I've put a few washer necklaces on etsy
if you would like to check out my Etsy Store. These would make GREAT Christmas presents (and I have free shipping!)
This is for my friend Teresa who turns 50 next week
I'm only 3 years behind ya!! LOL
All images are digital and I know the raining cupcakes are from Hambo Stamps. I can't remember where I found the "50" online. I paper pieced the raincoat and umbrella. I used Martha Stewart microbeads on the cupcakes along with Stickles glitter on the cherries.

Only 64 days till Christmas ...
Yes its true. It will be here soon enough I think. I made a few Christmas cards last night. Usually by now I am completely done but not this year. This is the newest stamp by Northwoods. Stampers Alley just got them in so I had to rush over and get it. One I made with a Santa and his reindeer in the sky. I need to make a better moon/sky. You also can't see it too great but I also used Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter (I love it). The gold specs in the trees is the new gold flower soft that just came out too. Love it too!!!

'Bun Voyage'
Do you ever make a card that just cracks you up? This one did. I made this card for Lesa - she and her daughter are headed to ITALY in a couple of weeks. When I saw this at Hambo Stamps, I knew I had to get it and make a card for her. I really am loving digital stamps. You pay for it and have it in 5 minutes!! Love it!! I hope she laughs when she sees it...

When I saw these owls dressed up for Halloween, I had to CASE it...
You can see the card here at Splitcoast. Isn't it the cutest? And here is my version.
Lots of punches were used for this card: Stampin Up owl punch, Stampin Up 1 1/4" circle punch, Martha Stewart bat punch, Martha Stewart batty fence punch, and for the wings of "Dracula" I used Martha Stewart's corner spider web punch. I used my Copic airbrushing for the sky background.

I'm not sure the economy has recovered yet ...
By the looks of the craft fair yesterday, I'm not sure the economy is getting any better. We didn't have that great of a turn out. Compared to last year, others said it was alot less people and people that did come just were NOT buying much. Lots of vendors went home disappointed, including us. I only sold 10 necklaces and Michelle only sold a few of her pink owls. Now I have LOTS of necklaces left!! Oh well. We still had fun and met a bunch of really nice people.
Emily came home for the weekend. She and her sorority sisters went to the Race for the Cure walk in Charlotte. She took some awesome photos of the balloons going up to heaven. We had 4-5 women who came to the craft fair after they walked in the race. I was talking to one girl who had lost her best friend to cancer a few years ago. We compared her story to Robin's story and I could not believe the similiarities. I was convinced she was talking about Robin. But then she said her bff lived in WI and Robin was in NC so I knew they were 2 different people but I just could not get over how much alike their stories were. Very sad!
Going to the mall with Ms Emily today. With the cooler weather coming, she needs some new sweatshirts.
